JD Natasha
With her natural talent and creative style, pop musician JD Natasha is on the verge of becoming a widely recognized singer-songwriter. The recent release of JD Natasha's new album, Imperfecta/Imperfect brings her profound lyrics to an audience that is ready to listen.Born in Miami in a racially mixed family, JD Natasha began singing from her crib when she was 2. In third grade, she started piano lessons and fell in love with music. In 2003 JD Natasha formed a group with a few friends and put together a set which featured some of her rock-laced pop songs. "It went well and was a good experience for us. Later we broke up and I kept singing on my own and writing my own music," she says.JD Natasha has a strong talent for writing music about her life, "I write songs when I feel the need to communicate something ...I don't sit down to make music if my inner feelings and senses aren't asking me to," she explains. JD Natasha is influenced by many musical styles, "I can listen to Nirvana, the Cure and the Beatles, and then switch to Outkast, Eminen, and Bob Marley," she explains. JD Natasha employs these influences in creating her music, and adds her own twist to create songs with an individual style.
