Lil S

Lil' S, born Trayvon Lewayne Thomas, began rapping at the age of eleven. Influenced by hip hop greats like The Fat Boys, Tupac Shakur and Curtis Blow, Thomas is a true product of the hip hop generation. Having fallen subject to the circumstances of inner city street life at a young age, Thomas found himself in a Los Angeles jail for a number of years. It was during his incarceration he decided that he had more to offer the world and rap became his medium of self-expression and transformation. Despite his rough past and experiences, Trayvon's lyrics are uplifting and hopeful, a breathe of fresh air from the current state of commercial rap. His song "You Got Me" debuted in the summer of 2009 on KPWR 106's "New At 2." The sky's the limit for Thomas, who believes music is able to touch the lives and souls of people across the world in a way that nothing else can.
